Every fixture week

This week’s essentials

The timeline below applies to a typical Sunday fixture; midweek and rearranged fixtures may follow different deadlines.

A quick reminder only. Use the Coach Hub and adopted rules where the exact requirement or interpretation matters.

Tuesday

Home Team sends the full fixture details for a Sunday fixture.

Thursday

Away Team confirms receipt and kit details.

Thursday, 9pm

Player registrations must be complete and League-approved.

Saturday, 9pm

Suspension-clearance deadline.

Matchday

Check eligibility, team sheets, officials, payment and Respect standards.

After the game

Complete result reporting, Referee marks and any required incident reports.

Before the fixture

  • Confirm the date, venue and kick-off time
  • Contact the opposition and confirm kit colours
  • Check every Player is registered and eligible
  • Confirm Match Official arrangements
  • Prepare the team sheet and payment

On matchday

  • Set up the pitch, technical areas and Respect environment
  • Use only eligible and approved Players
  • Provide required team sheets
  • Support the Match Official
  • Pay the correct fee and mileage responsibility

After the fixture

  • Complete result-reporting requirements
  • Submit required Full-Time information
  • Complete the Referee mark where required
  • Report misconduct or an abandonment
  • Begin the approved rearrangement process if needed

The rules managers ask about most

League Match Official fees

The Home Team is responsible for 100% of the applicable fee and mileage.

League Cup Match Official fees

The two Teams split the applicable fee and mileage equally and pay their shares directly.

League Cup team sheets

Both Teams present their team sheet to the Referee at least 45 minutes before kick-off.

Cup knockout ties

No extra time. U12–U18 ties level after normal time go to 5 penalties each, then sudden death.

League Cup differences

Cup-tied rules, the three-appearance requirement for semi-finals and finals, team-sheet timing, penalties and shared Match Official costs all differ from ordinary League fixtures.
