Eligibility & Cancelled Registrations

Rule 18

Only properly registered and eligible Players may take part. Clubs remain responsible for checking eligibility before every fixture.

Cancelled registration: a Player whose registration has been cancelled must wait 14 days before becoming eligible under the Competition rule.

Match-Day Requirements

Rules 19–20

Colour clash

The Away Team changes colours where the Referee considers the teams' colours too similar.

Captain

The Team Captain shall wear a distinguishing armband.

Young age groups

Matches are played in halves where the Competition-specific SCORY provision applies.

Home Team equipment

The Home Team is responsible for the required match equipment, including suitable match balls and pitch equipment.

Fixtures

Postponements & Abandoned Matches

Rule 20

Clubs must follow the Competition process for postponements and notify all affected parties immediately when a fixture cannot proceed.

Abandoned fixture: where a replay is required, the Clubs have 14 days to agree a new date before the Competition may impose one.
Match not played through neither Club's fault: Match Officials are entitled to half fee in accordance with the Competition-specific rule.

Both Clubs are responsible for completing the Competition's result-reporting requirements.

Where a same-day result notification is required, the Competition's adopted deadline is 5:30pm.

League Fixtures

Home Team pays 100%

The Home Team is responsible for all applicable Referee, Assistant Referee and mileage costs.

League Cup Fixtures

50% each Team

Each Team pays its 50% share directly to the Match Official(s), including applicable mileage.

League Cup

League Cup Supplementary Rules

Schedule C
All 2026/27 SCORY Rules apply to the League Cup except where these supplementary rules specifically vary them.

Cup-tied Players

Once a Player has taken part in the League Cup, the Player is cup-tied in accordance with the Competition's Cup rules.

Semi-Finals & Finals

A Player must have made at least 3 League or League Cup appearances for the participating Club by the original date fixed for the tie.

Team Sheets

Both Teams must present their Team Sheet to the Referee at least 45 minutes before kick-off.

Knockout Matches

No extra time. If level at the end of normal time, the tie goes directly to kicks from the penalty mark.

Penalties – U12 to U18

Each Team takes 5 kicks. If still level, kicks continue on a sudden-death basis.

Match Official Costs

The total Match Official fees and applicable mileage are shared 50/50. Each Team pays its own share directly to the Match Official(s).
