League Terms & Conditions

Gloucester County Girls Football League

The terms and conditions under which referees, clubs, team managers, and other participants engage with the league.

Acceptance of Terms

By registering as a referee, submitting an affiliation, or using the Gloucester County Girls Football League Management System (LMS), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, the league's Code of Conduct, and the league's Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not register or continue to use the league's systems.

Referee Affiliation

Referees must be at least 14 years old to register with the league

Youth referees (under 18) require parent/guardian consent to affiliate

Referees must hold an FA referee qualification (or be a registered trainee) to be assigned to fixtures

A valid FA DBS check is required before a referee may be approved and assigned to fixtures

Affiliation must be renewed each season; unaffiliated referees will not be assigned fixtures

Fixture Assignments & Availability

The league predominantly plays on Sunday mornings; additional fixtures may be arranged by agreement of the clubs or when the fixture schedule allows

Referees are responsible for keeping their availability up to date via the Referee Portal

Fixtures are assigned at the discretion of the Referee Secretary and league officials

Once accepted, a referee is expected to fulfil the assignment or provide adequate notice of withdrawal

Late withdrawals or non-attendance may result in suspension from future assignments

Fees & Payments

Referee match fees are set by the league and published in the Referee Fee schedule

Fees are paid for fixtures actually officiated; cancelled or unplayed fixtures do not attract a fee

Payment is processed by the league's treasurer and may take several weeks after the fixture

Referees must provide valid bank details to receive payment

Conduct & Disciplinary Action

All referees and participants must adhere to the league's Code of Conduct and Referee Code of Conduct. Breaches may result in disciplinary action, including fines, suspension, or removal from the league. Serious breaches will be referred to Gloucestershire FA. Decisions of the league committee are final.

Data & Privacy

Personal data provided during registration and affiliation is processed in accordance with the league's Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. By registering, you consent to the league storing and using your information for legitimate football administration purposes, including fixture assignment, payment processing, safeguarding, and communications.

Changes to These Terms

The league may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the league's systems after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Significant changes will be communicated to registered users.
